Many donors say they wish they could do more to help Genesis Farm. We may be able to work with you to create a gift that maximizes your intentions. Here are some of the ways to make a gift to Genesis Farm.

Cash, check, or credit card donation is the simplest form of gift to make.  You can either make a one-time donation or give monthly through a credit-card deduction. Gifts can be made by mail by sending them to Genesis Farm, 41A Silver Lake Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825; or by calling 908-362-6735. You can also donate online.

Securities or stocks held more than one year that have gone up in value make extremely effective gifts. The donor is entitled to deductions for the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift, plus you pay no tax on the capital gain value of the gift shares.

A bequest is a provision in your will naming Genesis Farm as a recipient of a part of your estate. It is flexible and easy. A bequest may be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage or fraction of your estate, or it may take the form of a trust. The taxable amount of your estate is reduced by the value of any charitable bequests.

Retirement Funds naming Genesis Farm as a beneficiary of all or part of an IRA or qualified retirement plan could achieve both estate and income tax savings.
