Twenty-five people attended the Workshop in the Orchard on March 13-14 at the Farm.
In spite of continuous rain, as well as some thunder and hail, everyone was in the orchard at the Community-Supported Garden (CSG) at Genesis Farm, pasting the apple trees to prevent growth of mildew and insect infestation.
Judy Von Handorf, CSG gardener, showed how to make the paste for the trees.
Andrew Faust, permaculture teacher from Brooklyn, NY, demonstrated the pasting technique.
