Addressing Critical Issues and Alternatives for a More Viable Future . . .

Help Genesis Farm continue to reach out into the world with a perspective rooted in the dynamics of the Universe Story

A Message from the Chair of Genesis Farm's Board of Trustees

November 28, 2011

Dear Friend,

As we transition together to the shorter days and longer nights of winter, the staff and the Board of Trustees of Genesis Farm offer you warm blessings during this season of celebration and reflection. We appreciate your friendship as well as all the ways you make our work possible.

For the past 30 years, Genesis Farm has been doing its work quietly in the hills of New Jersey, sharing insights about the Universe Story and its many implications for how we might bring ourselves to live in greater harmony with Earth and all the communities of life so threatened in these times.

I invite you to join me in celebrating this work by making a generous year-end donation to support Genesis Farm.

As a friend of Genesis Farm, you know the value of the work that is done here:
  • Sharing the understandings of our lives on a living planet in a still-evolving Universe;
  • Fostering ecological restoration through collaboration with others who work to promote bioregionalism, permaculture, sustainable agriculture and the emerging Transition movement;
  • Protecting the “the common good”—the rights of Earth to sustain and foster the elements and conditions for all life to continue into the future.
Genesis Farm depends on donations from supporters like you to pay its small hard-working staff, operate its modest office and maintain its infrastructure. Program fees represent only 25% of its revenue. The overwhelming portion of Genesis Farm’s support is gifted by individuals like you who believe in the farm’s mission and work.

Won’t you consider sending a donation today to support Genesis Farm in the Great Work?

Your gift will help Genesis Farm continue to address critical issues, like genetically engineered food, fracking, and fossil fuel dependency as well as the alternatives we can create for a more viable future. It will allow Genesis Farm to continue being a place where people can embrace the evolving Universe as the context for their lives, and explore ways in which economic, governmental, educational and religious institutions can transform themselves to be in alignment with the natural world.  All donations are tax-deductible and are greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Elsie Bernauer, O.P.
Chair, Genesis Farm Board of Trustees

P.S. As changes unfold throughout the world, Genesis Farm continues to ask, “What is Earth asking of us?” Help Genesis Farm and its staff continue reaching out into the world, helping people search for greater clarity and courage to effect deep and abiding change. Please make your gift today.
