Joint StillPoint Schoolhouse and Lara Greenspan in learning how to identify wild mushrooms. Lara has been foraging for wild mushrooms and wild edible plants since she was a child. She studied with the NJ Mycological Association for many years and has led numerous mushroom walks. Her interest in wild plants expanded to medicinal uses of plants, which led her to a 2-year course in Herbal Therapeutics with David Winston, AHG, one of the foremost herbalists in the world. Her interest is to be an educator so our ancestral knowledge is not lost. Cost: $35. This walk will be held at Van Campen Glen.
