We are pleased to welcome Penny McDougal and Shelley Morheim to share their knowledge and experiences of bringing the care of the dead back into our own hands and homes as thousands of generations have done throughout history. Both of them have been involved with researching these issues for the Maryland State Assembly and have participated in educational forums as well as in home care of the dead and home funerals and green burials.  This morning session will explore open dialogue around these significant issues and prepare for our afternoon annual memorial planting and ceremony of remembrance.
